Synovus Supports AAA Scholarship Foundation in Florida
Columbus, Ga., May 31, 2022 – Synovus has contributed $250,000 to AAA Scholarship Foundation in Florida to provide educational scholarships to low and moderate income students throughout the state.

AAA Scholarship Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that administers educational choice programs through the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program. The program allows any company that pays Florida corporate income tax to redirect up to 100 percent of its tax liability to AAA or other state approved scholarship funding organizations to fund K-12 education scholarships for eligible children. Synovus’ contribution will fund scholarships for 35 children across the bank’s Florida footprint.
Since 2015, Synovus has contributed more than $7.9 million to AAA Scholarship Foundation and other state approved scholarship funding organizations in Florida.
