Jamie Gregory

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jamie Gregory is executive vice president and chief financial officer for Synovus.

Gregory leads the company’s financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax and corporate strategy. He is also accountable for the company’s overall financial plans and policies. Gregory liaises with investors, auditors and investment bankers on behalf of Synovus.

Before joining Synovus in 2019, Gregory was executive vice president and head of corporate financial strategy at Regions Financial Corporation. He also served as senior vice president with Wachovia, where he held corporate investment and portfolio management positions.

Gregory serves locally on the board of directors of the Boy Scouts of America and Woodruff Arts Center. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
