- Zelle®. Enrollment in Zelle® is required. To send money or receive money from a small business, both the sender and recipient must be enrolled with Zelle® directly through the institution. Both parties need a U.S. checking account enrolled with Zelle®, only one needs an eligible Synovus account. Small businesses are not able to enroll in the Zelle® app and cannot receive payments from consumers enrolled in the Zelle® app. Funds are typically made available in minutes when the recipient's email address or U.S. mobile number is already enrolled with Zelle®. - To earn the $250 statement credit, you must open a Synovus Business credit card , and have at least $2,500 in eligible purchases (net spend) within the first 90 days of account opening. Net spend is defined as total purchases less returns and merchant credits. Eligible purchases do not include fees, interest, purchases of Travelers Checks, purchases or loading of any prepaid card, purchases of foreign currency, balance transfers, promotional or convenience checks, other purchases or cash equivalents, or using the card for any purchase made through the Purchase Perks rewards program. Statement credit will generally be applied to your account by the end of the month following the month in which the eligible transaction(s) occurred, totaling $2,500 or more. Statement credit will not be awarded to an account for purchases during a billing cycle if your account is not open and current on the billing cycle closing date. The statement credit applies toward the balance and does not replace the monthly payment. You are responsible for any tax due on any amount received which is considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-MISC. Back
