Shawn Morgan

Market Executive

Shawn joined Synovus as Market President in 2018. With 25 years of banking industry experience in Alabama, he brings a strong background in commercial banking and treasury management to the Jasper market. In addition to graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Shawn is a Certified Treasury Professional, having earned his certification in July 2002.

Born in nearby Carbon Hill, Shawn and his family now live in Jasper.

Kenny Allen

Branch Manager

A lifelong Walker County resident, Kenny Allen has managed the Dora branch since 1999. Our small business and consumer customers know him as an experienced go-to banker, ready to help anytime with their loan and banking needs. And helping others is what Kenny enjoys most.

Lisa Killingsworth

Lisa grew up here and has worked with a number of community organizations during her 24 years as a banker. “The group I’m most passionate about is Jasper Main Street,” she says. “I’m honored to be a part of this wonderful organization,” which focuses on restoring vitality to downtown Jasper. “As a lender in the community, it’s so fulfilling to be able to help businesses downtown to flourish.”

Jacob Brown

Retail Market Leader

Jacob has spent over 20 years working in the financial industry. He started as a mortgage originator in Birmingham and, over the years, worked his way up the ranks at several regional and national financial institutions. Now he leads our retail banking team in Jasper, where he grew up. For Jacob, working at Synovus is an opportunity to help make Walker County a better place to live and work.

When he’s not helping customers, Jacob loves taking his family to a Braves game, coaching softball, and watching Alabama football.
