Owning a small business can be a rewarding experience. But it doesn’t come without challenges. Just ask Andy McGee, owner of two Lennys Grill & Subs® in Daphne, Alabama. After he opened his first Lennys in 2007, the economy struggled and so did many small businesses. But Andy stayed the course, worked hard, and persevered.
The driving force behind all of Andy’s efforts is family – providing for his own (his wife and four children, including triplets) and providing a family-friendly place for others to enjoy fresh made-to-order meals, both dine-in and convenient drive-thru.
By 2018, Andy was ready to open another Lennys, this one in the Malbis area in Daphne on Highway 90. By then, Synovus was his business banking partner and was instrumental in the construction of his second restaurant.
