Since beginning his banking career more than 35 years ago, Philip has actively helped local individuals and businesses to thrive, first as a branch manager, later as a commercial lender, and now as a chief credit officer. He likes to supplement important family time with the occasional golf game. “Each round offers great challenges, teaches integrity and quenches a competitive thirst,” he says.

Sharon McNair
Relationship Banker LeadSharon joined Synovus in 2024. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Troy University, where she is currently pursuing her master’s in organizational management. Sharon finds her passion in building relationships with Synovus clients in her community and beyond and helping them reach their full potential. A proud inductee of the National Society for Leadership and Success, Sharon and her husband, Marcus, have three children. In her spare time, you can find her on horseback or riding an all-terrain vehicle, planning her next travel getaway, watching “Wheel of Fortune” and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
