A lifelong banker, Beth is also a leader in volunteering her experience to help make our community stronger. “I can’t think of a better place to raise my family,” she says. In recognition of her many years of community service, she received our William B. Turner Humanitarian Award in 2012.

Susan Griffin

With more than 25 years of experience in banking services, Susan has a comprehensive grasp of clients’ financial needs and how to meet them. She loves the Huntsville area, and when not involved in helping community organizations, she can often be found on a tennis court.

Trent Clark

Senior VP
Community Banking Manager

Trent joined Synovus in 2007 and serves as Huntsville's senior vice president and community banking manager. "I love working with my clients to help strategize a plan for what's best for their business regarding their banking needs. I consider myself an extended part of their team as a trusted financial partner." Trent holds a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the University of North Alabama. He is also a graduate of Alabama Banking School. Outside the office, Trent volunteers at his church as a drummer and, for fun, enjoys working out, golfing, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their two children.

Wesley Stewart

Private Wealth Advisor

Wesley brings more than 15 years of experience in banking and financial services to his role as a private wealth advisor serving Synovus clients in Huntsville and across North Alabama. A Certified Wealth Strategist®, Wesley is deeply motivated to solve his clients’ complex financial problems and relieve their anxiety. He reminds them that if they’re losing sleep over money, “I want to be your first call in the morning.”

Born in Canada, where his parents were missionaries at the time, Wesley grew up near Houston, TX. A proud graduate of the University of Alabama (which his son chose to attend as well), he also holds an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University. He and his wife, Sharla, are active in their local church. In his spare time, Wesley enjoys fishing and watching Alabama football and the Houston Astros.

Erin Moore

Commercial Banker

Erin started her banking career at Synovus in 2019. For her, working at a bank means more than transactions — it's about positively impacting the lives and businesses of the people we serve.

Erin studied finance at Georgia Southern and earned her MBA from Auburn University. Dedicated to equipping others with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the financial world confidently, she has served the community on various nonprofit boards and as a financial education instructor. Erin also finds joy in exploring the trails of North Alabama, enjoying the local music scene, and traveling with her fiancé, Cole.
