Recovering from the recent hurricanes together
Many of our friends, neighbors, and valued clients have experienced widespread and life-changing destruction in the wake of the Hurricanes Helene and Milton. All of our branches are open with normal business hours, and our team is ready to serve. We understand everyone has been impacted differently by these events, and we’re committed to being there for you before, during, and after the storms. Here are some of the ways we’re helping our customers affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton:
- Synovus fees will be refunded when customers use other banks' ATMs in affected areas during this time.
- Impacted Synovus customers will not be charged to cash checks issued by FEMA.
- Early withdrawal penalty fees may be waived on CDs if funds are needed prior to maturity.
- Consumer and Small Business credit card payment relief is available to impacted customers who qualify. Call us at 888-SYNOVUS (796-6887) and say “personal credit card” or “business credit card” to discuss your options.
- Loan payment relief is available to impacted customers who qualify. Please contact your banker directly or call 888-SYNOVUS (796-6887).
- If you have questions about your mortgage payments or need payment relief assistance, please contact Mortgage Customer Service at 800-803-0803.
ATMs available across the Southeast
If you and your family have evacuated, please remember we have locations across the region, including Synovus ATMs, along major evacuation routes. Search for branch and ATM locations or through the My Synovus app.
Access to service on-the-go
My Synovus, ATMs, and Telephone Banking all offer easy ways to check balances and transfer funds should you need to access your personal account on-the-go or send money to a loved one in the storm area. If you’re a business customer, you can also download the Synovus Gateway app to access your business account. You may want to take a minute to update your settings to allow your security code to be sent by text instead of receiving a call to a landline.
